VIDEO EDITOR-MOTION GRAPHICS

Location: Rahway, New Jersey- onsite as needed
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $40 – 45 per hour

Our client is looking for a Video Editor to join their in-house agency’s video production team. The ideal candidate is someone with motion graphics experience. Expertise in all phases of video editing is a must as well as a proven ability to attend virtual and/or in-person meetings as necessary.

This will be a remote position; however, this person must be close and commutable to Rahway, NJ as they will need to be onsite as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Work with clients and producers to creatively edit raw video footage including music and graphics and deliver a finished deliverable.
• Work with Art Directors to edit from storyboards and create instruction and informative videos.
• Manage all production files during post-production and maintain organized file structure.
• Collaborate with the Producer to create an overall vision for the production.
• Collaborate with Producers to budget and estimate time required to remain on target for project timelines.
• Troubleshoot software and upgrades if needed.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and employee workflow to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and quality standard.
• Work in the most proactive creative and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to clients.
• Responsible for quality control of all aspects of graphic production and content.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Education: Bachelors
• 5+ years with editing and post-production workflows.
• Ability to apply strategic thinking to all business challenges and opportunities.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe CC Premiere After Effects and Illustrator.
• Excellent understanding of functionally related software equipment and technologies.
• Superior written and oral communication capability.
• Able to manage a high volume of tasks with sense of urgency.
• Commitment to adhering to all Cella policies and procedures.
• Possess the technical knowledge and collaborative and problem-solving skills necessary to translate abstract concepts into effective deliverables.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with ability to apply quality control practices to all projects.
• Ability to effectively and professionally collaborate and interact with team peers clients, interdepartmental colleagues and high-level executives.
• Project management software a plus.
