Duties:

– Edit raw footage to create high-quality videos for various purposes

– Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards

– Utilize photography, 2D animation, and 3D animation skills to enhance video content

– Perform photo editing and graphic design tasks to create visually appealing elements

– Manage and organize video files using FTP or other file transfer methods

– Conduct post-production activities such as color correction, audio editing, and adding special effects

– Ensure that videos meet technical specifications and are optimized for different platforms

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video editing techniques

Requirements:

– Proven experience as an Assistant Editor, Video Editor or similar role

– Proficient in using software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), Avid, and Capture One

– Strong knowledge of video editing principles and techniques

– Familiarity with graphic design software and tools

– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

– Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the creative team

Please note that while not required, a portfolio showcasing your previous work as a Video Editor is preferred for consideration.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
