We are casting for theatrical actors and actresses to perform regularly at our Chester based tourist attraction Deva Roman Experience, which brings to life the cities roman history in an immersive walk-through experience. Throughout the 45-minute show guests embark on an adventure back in time and learn about roman food, bathing, how to defend the fortress as well as what happened inside Devas iconic amphitheatre.

We are looking for highly characterful performers with improv experience who can also learn and deliver a script confidently while sticking to our fun, interactive and educational brand which has become a hit throughout 2023. Our characters include Roman soldiers, citizens of Deva, gladiators and more!

The ideal candidate would be someone looking for freelance work on a regular basis, someone who loves performing to the public as well as someone with a keen interest in history.
