Video Editor/ Videographer

Job Description:

· Collaborate with teams to understand brand objectives and messaging goals.

· Devise an overall video brand messaging strategy to effectively communicate key messages through visual storytelling.

· Edit and assemble raw video footage to create compelling and coherent visual narratives.

· Ensure seamless transitions, proper pacing, and overall visual appeal in the final product.

· Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative and engaging ideas for social media ad campaigns.

· Contribute creative input to align video content with marketing objectives and target audience preferences.

· Execute video production from concept to completion, incorporating storytelling elements and brand messaging.

· Optimize videos for various social media platforms, considering format, duration, and style preferences.

· Create visually appealing images, GIFs, and other still assets to complement video content.

· Ensure consistency in visual branding across all assets for a cohesive marketing approach.

· Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in video editing technologies.

· Evaluate and implement new tools or techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of the editing process.

· Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to align video assets with broader marketing strategies.

· Incorporate feedback and iterate on creative elements to achieve optimal results.

· Uphold high standards of quality and consistency in all video and visual assets produced.

· Ensure that the brand’s visual identity is accurately represented in each piece of content.

· Customize video content to meet the specific requirements and best practices of various social media platforms.

· Stay informed about platform updates and adjust strategies accordingly.

· Identify and resolve any technical or creative challenges that may arise during the editing and production process.

· Maintain flexibility and adaptability in problem-solving.

· Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality video and visual assets on schedule.

Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Professional in Broadcasting, Film Studies/ Cinematic Arts, Advertising/ Media, Mass Communications, or equivalent.

· Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or any other video editing software or additional creative tools.

· Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop for creative asset production.

· Demonstrated capacity to learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

· Familiarity with emerging technologies in the video editing and production field.

· Ability to bring creative ideas to video editing and content creation.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

· Efficient time management skills to meet project deadlines.

· Willingness to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RM2,500.00 – RM5,000.00 per month
