We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team in Bangalore. Indiahikes is known across the country for its video content, which are educational and insightful to trekkers. Almost anyone stepping into the Himalayas refers to our videos for guidance. Aside from the information, our videos have some of the most astounding visuals, because we have the Himalayas at our feet. Very few people in the world have a chance to work on videos like these.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll work on

• Crafting compelling short-form videos for social media: Instagram reels and YouTube shorts will be your playground.
• Learning the ropes of long-form storytelling: Assisting with editing documentary-style videos showcasing the magic of Indian treks.
• Mastering the tools of the trade: Sharpen your skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro under the guidance of experienced editors.
• Collaborating with a passionate team: Be part of our marketing crew, contributing creative ideas and learning from diverse perspectives.
• Immersing yourself in the world of adventure: Get a sneak peek into the thrilling world of trekking and experience the magic firsthand.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a fire in their belly for visual storytelling and a thirst for learning.
• Works well with others, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys taking initiative.
• Knows their way around basic editing techniques and is eager to dive deeper.
• Owns their laptop and has access to editing software (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro preferred).
• Brings a contagious enthusiasm for adventure and the outdoors.

This is a full-time role based in Bangalore. Salary starts a 6L per annum, but could increase based on your skill and work experience.
