Photography Grip Assistant

Read the posting below and if its for you please apply! We have a photography studio located in Swansboro, NC. You do not need to be interested in photography to do this job! If you are interested in photography thats great but its not required.

We are looking for a fun, outgoing, energetic person that can talk with clients and high school athletes at photo shoots. You will be filling out order forms, checking forms, and collecting payments at our school sports sessions. As a team we all setup and breakdown the lighting equipment. You will need to be able to lift 10-20lbs and be okay with standing and walking.

You will need your own transportation to get to the studio if its more then a 40min drive for you to get to the studio we can tell you from previous experience its not worth it for you to apply. When we drive to locations for shoots we either meet at the studio or in jacksonville and then ride together to the shoot.

A big part of our business is working with student athletes at multiple high schools this means that we typically are at schools from 2pm-6pm we may have to leave sooner and stay later depending on the day. Every sunday our office manager will email out the schedule for the week and you can see it in advance.

Sick? Need a day off? Taking a trip? No problems at all as long as you let us know what days you need off we add it to the schedule. We put family first and want people to enjoy being at work! We typically work only Monday – Friday and Saturdays are appointments only again we want you to have time with family.

Hiring process: We are going to do facetime or zoom interviews over the next few days, We will get our list down to 5 people and have them come to the studio for an in person interview and shoot. You can see how we work and make sure its a good fit.

Add-on note: Our office manager is moving but she will working remotely for us for a bit. So this job does come with the opportunity for additional hours, work and pay increase if you are interested. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
