FreeCast has been an established and successful company for the last 12 years and is solving the problem of multiple streaming service providers (programming competitors) offering different content and delivery models, by gathering it all into one aggregate platform for consumers. The company’s technology platform labeled SmartGuide® collects, consolidates and arranges live linear channels, streaming channels, international/local channels, television programs, movies, regardless if free with ads, pay per view, or subscription based.

FAST Channel Explanation

Free Ad-supported Television (FAST) is free and funded by ads, meaning viewers can watch live and on-demand content without having to pay for a cable package or streaming service. FreeCast is looking for a candidate that is super collaborative, has good communication, can work well under pressure, and take on tasks that come up outside of a job description.

** We prefer someone who is already local to quickly bring them onboard. This job requires interaction with the internal HQ Team on a daily basis.

What you need to Succeed

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
• Graphics and Video Graphics creation and editing experience
• Technically proficient with all video codecs, resolutions and frame rates
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of shared file storage and file transfer platforms
• Ability to troubleshoot software and equipment
• Work well under pressure and turnaround projects to meet tight deadlines
• Expert oral and written communication skills
• The ability to multitask effectively; Well-organized and a self-starter
• Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge and experience working with SFTP and FTP is HUGE plus!
• Knowledge and experience curating, scheduling and/or managing Streaming Channels is a HUGE plus!
• Experience with LTN or similar Channel Creation software is a HUGE plus!

What are the Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Create, schedule and manage new and existing Channels
• Create graphics and motion graphics for new and existing Channels for Ad Fills and Transitions screens
• Communicate and Onboard New Content Partners on how they will provide their content to us for Channel creation and content updates
• Communicate with Existing Content Partners about managing their content
• Understand and manage EPG Data being provided by Content Partners or that needs to be created for Channels
• Troubleshoot any issues that may occur on Ad Fills, Transitions and Channels managed with this position
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technical trends in the Streaming Channels and FAST Channels space

The starting pay is 19.00 / hour with review after 6 months.

Additional forms of compensation, which will include stock options, will be discussed with candidates during the time of a final interview.
