Youtube Video Editor Expert

About the position

The Editor for our agency is responsible for taking footage and turning it into a final video that will be seen by millions of people around the world. They will work closely with the other editors and various creator teams to ensure the content comes to life upholding its creative integrity, and drives maximum excitement for the audience.

The Editor should be an expert in YouTube editing and have experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

The ideal candidate will never settle until the end product exceeds their own standards. They are excited to find storylines they can weave together to create highly engaging content every week, and take pride in their ability to find creative solutions with their collaborators.

What you’ll do

● Create engaging and entertaining content that attracts and retains viewers

● Edit video footage in an unsupervised environment, ensuring that all deadlines are met

● Transform raw footage into a seamless and polished final product

● Emphasize emotional moments with memes, music, and graphics

● Edit rough cuts, story edits, and final polished videos on a weekly basis

● Utilize After Effects and Photoshop to enhance and create video assets

● Collaborate with the Post Supervisor to ensure that all QC notes are reviewed and implemented

● Cut and trim content in a manner that enhances its entertainment value from beginning to end

● Manage your schedule to ensure timely delivery of content that meets company’s quality and creative standards

● Multitask in a fast-paced environment sometimes working on multiple projects in the same week

● All other duties assigned

Preferred Requirements

● Experience editing YouTube videos for creators or entertainment companies

● Advanced English Level is required

● Expertise and efficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software

● Proficient in using Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects

● Organized

● Proficiency with our tech stack; Google Suite, Frame.io, Slack, Monday.com
