Video Editor (Meme Videos)

We are seeking a talented and creative video editor with a keen sense of humor to join our team. As a video editor specializing in meme videos, you will play a pivotal role in crafting content that sparks joy, laughter, and engagement among our audience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop meme video ideas.
• Edit and assemble raw footage, memes, and other visual elements to create hilarious and shareable video content.
• Apply sound design techniques to enhance comedic timing and maximize the impact of punchlines and visual gags.
• Experiment with various editing styles, effects, and transitions to maintain freshness and originality in our content.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Proven or little experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing your proficiency in editing meme videos or similar content.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• A deep understanding of internet culture, memes, and viral trends across social media platforms.
• Strong comedic sensibility and the ability to identify humor in various forms, from visual gags to clever wordplay.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic and a willingness to adapt to evolving priorities and creative challenges.
