Develops motion graphic video solutions to meet the university’s digital needs and marketing goals, from concept through completion.

Effectively utilizes the internal digital library, including using assets for re-purposing, color correcting images and video, archiving all content in an organized manner.

Assists with all phases of video production, from filming to post-production editing including working with footage, copy, audio, graphics, and effects.

Ensures brand integrity and maintains the highest standards of quality for all content created.

Maintains knowledge of industry trends.

Designs on-brand creative solutions for high quality, engaging content for use across a variety of platforms (social media, website, brand campaigns, digital ads, internal and external presentations etc.).

Filming in a variety of settings, locations, and cinematic production styles as determined best for various projects, including live webcast events, marketing, and educational field/studio environments.

Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships with internal units and university colleagues.

High School Diploma and 5 years of appropriate experience required.
Florida Driver’s License required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Five years of experience in the field of video production.
- Expertise in motion graphic design and video editing.
- Ability to work in a Mac-based environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing design skills, creativity, and attention to detail; include a range of projects that showcase skills in typography, layout, branding, and digital design.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Expertise in Creative Suite programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects; experience using Animation software, such as Adobe Character Animator or similar.
- Expert level experience in editing with Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to take direction and feedback from Florida Atlantic’s Director of Video Services.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as with Division of Public Affairs staff and university colleagues, to meet all goals while adhering to Florida Atlantic policies and visual standards.
$50,000 – $60,000 per year.

Portfolio: To be considered, a portfolio with work samples is requested at the time of application. Explain your part in the overall project, how you worked with your team, the research that drove your editing and production decisions, and why you ended up with the final concept/video segment.
OFFICIAL SEALED TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED:
Final candidate will be required to have official, sealed transcripts and original NACES evaluation, if applicable, sent from their educational institution to Human Resources prior to the start of employment.
