Opin is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor at Opin, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand through engaging and visually appealing video content. You will be responsible for editing all video material, ensuring high-quality output, and contributing to the development of a consistent brand identity across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing

  • Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, compelling, and visually appealing videos.
  • Ensure videos compliment Mentor’s course content and that videos tell a cohesive story.

Social Media and Marketing

  • Prepare video clips tailored for various social media platforms to maximize engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Production teams to create video content that aligns with Opin’s marketing strategy and goals.

Branding

  • Assist in developing and maintaining a cohesive brand identity for Opin’s video content.
  • Ensure that all video content aligns with Opin’s brand values and messaging.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, Marketing, and Production to achieve collective goals.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members to enhance the overall quality of video content.

Stay Updated

  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to Opin’s video content.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across a number of styles, formats, and lengths.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition.
  • Requires intermediate knowledge of motion graphics animation through use of Adobe After Effects, including ability to work with design files.
  • Requires a basic to intermediate understanding of audio mixing, color theory, typography, and color correction
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their video specifications.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance video content.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $45,800.00 to $65,000.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
