Video Editor Freelancer – Regular/Recurring Basis

Post-production arm of local business seeking talented video editors to work on corporate videos, advertisements and TV commercials. Workload suitable for freelance/side-gig/side-job basis with freedom to decide your own working schedule as long as deadlines are met. Will be considered for full-time employment within 1 year if quality of work meets or exceeds expectations, with above market-rate remuneration.

Current working arrangements:

– 100% work-from-home, contactable between 10am & 5pm

– 4 day week (Mon-Thu), Fridays only during peak period

– Team lunch meeting once every 1-2 weeks, JB area, transport provided

Necessary competencies:

– Strong knowledge of audio and video post-production

– Excellent video editing, color grading and motion graphic skills

– Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (plus points for After Effects)

– Familiarity with multi-user (collaborative editing) workflow

– Familiarity with exporting for social media formats

– Ability to work closely with remote team members

– Attention to detail and high level of quality control

– Strong organization and time-management

– Willingness to learn and uphold job responsibilities
