Video Editor

We need your help to evelcate one of NYC’s top medical massage therapy studio’s online marketing in 2024! Looking for someone who wants to add to videography and editing skills, and is looking to help an established brand growing into new territory.

In this role, you’ll be working with the owner and management team in strategizing, creating and producing video content for our Youtube channel and other social media and marketing platforms. The position will be mostly remote with occasional in-person planning meetings and asset production days including shooting video and photography.

This is a mostly remote hybrid position (in person in Manhattan 1-2x per month).

Responsibilities:

• Edit videos to brand specifications including 1 long form video for Youtube (avg 15 mins in length), and 2 short form vertical videos for multiple platforms (avg 1-3 mins per video)
• Create thumbnail images for youtube video uploads and cover images for Reels (we use Canva)
• Maintain content calendar and schedule final approved video content posts across all social platforms using best practices for platform SEO (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok)
• Collect, record, and analyze social media insights from platform analytics
• Assist in creation of ad campaign ideation, posting, and monitoring on Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
• Attend and assist content asset production days for video and photography

Requirements:

• Video editing experience (we use Davinci Resolve & Capcut)
• Ability to familiarize with our brand and create assets that work with it including images, video, and copy
• Strong attention to detail, organized and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to gain insights and propose improvements based on relevant data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in multiple software platforms and ability to easily learn new software (Slack, GA4, Wordpress, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and others)

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
