Social Media Video Editor

We are looking for a video editor for our social media content. Someone who can:

– Edit raw footage into high-quality videos, ensuring smooth transitions and visually appealing content

– Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards

– Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to edit and enhance videos

– Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and animations to enhance the overall video quality

– Add creative and engaging subtitles

– Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and meet the required specifications

– Manage and organize video files and assets in a systematic manner

– Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends.

– Help find trending content to replicate and come up with your own ideas.

Skills:

– Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other similar programs

– Strong understanding of cinematography principles and techniques

– Knowledge of photo manipulation software like Adobe Photoshop or Capture One for image editing

– Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Illustrator for graphic design work

– Ability to work with typography and create visually appealing text overlays

– Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines

– Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team

The job offer will start with a per video basis. It can grow into a part and even full time job.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: R180.00 – R220.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
