Freelance Video Editor

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will be responsible for all aspects of video editing and videography

The candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, extremely organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of current video trends and up-to-date on Adobe Creative Suite launches

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Lead Video Editor to create successful video content for Rodman brands and clients using Adobe Creative Suite

Edit videos for digital platforms using a mix of original footage, royalty free music, 2D animations and social media content.

Partner with social media team to create multiple versions of a given video to comply with different platforms

Maintain proper organization of all footage

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Assemble footage into rough, fine and final cuts while maintaining professional standards

Add music, graphics, visual effects and sound to increase the quality of each video

Potential VO work

Take notes and direction from Editorial and Marketing teams to implement feedback quickly.

Provide color correction and sound support when needed

Develop thumbnail artwork for websites and social media deliverables

Quality check videos and deliverables to ensure all assets meet standards, appropriate specs and are ready for upload across all platforms

Track time daily to ensure post-production schedule is maintained

Report any issues that might impact progress or quality

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour
