IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS

As well as expanding our Furniture and home decor we are now looking to develop The Den Bistro

We currently serve Barista style coffee, cakes, cream tea and our homemade soup, and now bistro style food.

Hours will be Approx 8 – 20 hours a week with the potential of extra hours for the right candidate.

Duties includes but is not limited to:

• Baking cakes and preparing food
• Taking payments
• Promoting products
• To complete the opening and closing checklists
• To ensure that the front of house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times
• To place orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• To ensure that all deliveries are checked and put away promptly and correctly
• To ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage and food production
• To cash up at the end of shift.
• Complete stock takes when required
• Assist in the completion of paperwork associated with health and safety and food hygiene.
• Be proactive at all times and use initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve any problems that may arise

What we are looking for:

• Enthusiastic team player
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certification (or be willing to work towards)
• Passion for food and drink
• Social media, email and pos knowledge preferable but not essential.
• Creative flare to develop Coffee Corner under supervision
• Must be outgoing, able to work on their own and in a small team.
• Experience working in the food industry is preferable

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
