Contract
Video Editors create educational or entertainment-driven video content. Work closely with Videographers, Directors and creative teams to condense footage and present it in an appropriate way. Their job is to edit video footage while keeping the Directors/Creative leads overall vision in mind.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Creative individual with a background in media, art, communication, photography, videography and/or technology.
- Has a combination of all in order to understand all elements of producing a finished quality film or video.
- Must have experience in working with film and video and training in video production and editing software, such as Final Cut Pro, are extremely helpful.
- Multimedia and communications experience
- Understanding of computers, digital equipment and new video editing technology/software
- Must be able to follow creative direction will having a creative eye for visual improvements and storytelling
- 3 – 5 years of video editing experience.
- Experience video editing for social platforms preferred.
- Experience working with raw footage to visually translate story into a captivating product.
- Must have experience working with graphics, sound and digital editing tools.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Fine Arts in communications, media, visual art, film, television, multimedia or graphic design.

Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
