Social Media Video Editor

Mission:

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively.

The Marketing Team aids in this mission by using a wide range of channels and tactics to strategically reach people with the gospel and faith-affirming resources. As the Social Media Video Editor, you will help produce videos and live streams for a wide variety of social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok as well as the AiG website. Through editing videos you’ll play a valuable role in reaching people with the truth of God’s Word.

Goals:

• Edit and deliver completed videos to the social media video team
• Implement latest industry tools and practices
• Improve watch time on social media platforms

Skills Needed:

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, etc).
• After Effects experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
• Deep knowledge of video editing techniques and trends.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Passion for learning and growing
