CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One – Cumulus Podcast Network is looking for a full-time Video Editor & Producer. Based in the New York City area, you should have three to five years of experience crafting audio and video content. You should have a dedicated work ethic, solid background in multimedia production, ability to work independently, and strong creative skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form video content for YouTube, Spotify, and other major platforms
• Generate original ideas and share with hosts and senior leaders on the podcast team
• Work with top-flight talent and marquee celebrities
• Maintain podcast studio space and equipment gear in New York City office
• Assist podcast hosts with recording of voiced commercial campaigns
• Edit, insert talent-voiced commercials, and upload podcasts
• Coordinate social media postings and upload audio/video
• Spot trends, study analytics, and adapt content for YouTube
• Create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Know how to engineer live video podcast episodes on YouTube (ideally through StreamYard)

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Minimum associate degree or equivalent work experience
• Extensive digital media skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Headliner, Riverside.fm, Megaphone, Omny, and StreamYard
• Strong working knowledge of YouTube Studio and YouTube analytics
• Self-starter who’s detail oriented, organized, and must be excellent at written and oral communication and possess strong multitasking skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and possess a team player attitude
• Aptitude to make decisions and work independently without immediate direction or supervision
• Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels
• Strong video editing skills and knack for thinking outside the box when needed
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task to meet team deadlines
• Ability to meet deadlines and problem solve
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work under pressure
