General Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor and Motion Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-impact commercials for Direct Response Television (DRTV) as well as Video ads for social media channels and Youtube. Your expertise in storytelling through visuals and sound will play a crucial role in driving our marketing and advertising strategies. You will collaborate directly with our creative services team to bring concepts to life, ensuring that all video content aligns with our brand’s vision and message. The ideal candidate should possess a strong design sense and the ability to communicate ideas and concepts effectively to upper management. This position is 100% on-site at our location in Tualatin, Monday – Friday.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING u007C THE ROLE

  • Primary Duties:
  • Work directly with the Sr. Creative & Brand Manager to story board, concept, and create high quality DRTV spots.
  • Apply concepted designs across multiple marketing channels including, but not limited to, Meta, YouTube, OTT, and Broadcasted Media
  • Create videos for the company to enforce brand and company vision
  • Additional Duties
  • Assist with the creation of design principles and guidelines for Creative Services.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Services team and assist where needed to achieve deadlines and requested responsibilities.
  • Understand and organize existing media clips to be used by Creative Services Team.
  • Keep personal and shared files organized to be “fetched” at a moment’s notice.

WHAT YOU BRING u007C THE PERSON

  • Required Skills & Abilities

  • MUST SUBMIT A PORFOLIO LINK ON RESUME
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, particularly in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
  • Exceptional design sense with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to conceptualize, storyboard, and execute ideas from start to finish.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate concepts and visions to the team and upper management.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, motion design, and related technologies.

  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design, specifically in creating commercials for Direct Response TV.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Media, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful video projects, with a portfolio showcasing your work in commercial and motion design.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, especially in the context of Direct Response advertising.
