We are looking for a creative Video Editor to join the team at Our Client’s YouTube channel. In this role, you will be editing economics-focused YouTube videos, enhancing them with graphics, b-roll, effects and more to create high quality, engaging mini movies. If you have stellar editing skills, expertise with After Effects, and a talent for compelling videography, we want to hear from you.
Our client maintain a culture of creative excellence and independence that empowers team members to bring their best work to every video. Quality, consistency and maximizing channel viewership metrics are key expectations for the role.
Performance is tracked based on YouTube video views as well as the enhancements made to quality to support rebuilding viewership.

Responsibilities

• Edit weekly YouTube videos focused on economic concepts and topics
• Incorporate graphics, b-roll, overlays, screenshots etc. to enhance engagement
• Employ After Effects skills for professional motion design and animations
• Ensure consistency of style, quality and branding across videos
• Optimize final product for maximum YouTube viewership

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience editing YouTube videos and expert use of Adobe Premiere
• Highly proficient with motion graphics and animation using After Effects
• Excels at splicing together diverse content sources into a cohesive story
• Razor-sharp attention to detail and consistency
• Passionate about YouTube as a digital medium
• Knowledge in global economic is a plus
• Strong creative instincts for captivating videography
• Can work independently to tight production schedules
