Drone Operator

Responsibilities:
– Operate drones to capture aerial footage and images for various purposes, such as film production, photography, or mapping
– Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and other applicable laws and regulations
– Conduct pre-flight inspections and maintenance checks on drones and related equipment
– Plan flight routes and coordinate with ground crew to ensure safety and efficiency
– Capture high-quality footage and images according to project requirements
– Edit and process captured footage and images as needed
– Maintain accurate records of flights, equipment usage, and maintenance activities

– Previous experience operating drones for film production, photography, or mapping purposes is preferred
– Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on drones
– Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) governing drone operations
– Experience working in militarized or sensitive environments is a plus
– Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
– Knowledge of photography principles and techniques for capturing high-quality images
– Ability to aviate drones safely in various weather conditions and environments
– Experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software is a plus
– Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,450.67 – $4,155.65 per month
