Are you a talented actor with a knack for immersing yourself in diverse roles? Omventure, a leading escape room business, is on the lookout for some dynamic individuals to join our team as a Live Actor / NPC for our thrilling brand new escape room experience.

At Omventure, we don’t just create escape rooms; we craft unforgettable adventures. We’re seeking passionate and versatile actors who can bring a Western flair to life as a rough and sarcastic bartender within our newest immersive escape room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Character Embodiment: Bring the Wild West to life by fully embodying the character of a rough and sarcastic bartender with an authentic Western accent. Immerse customers in a captivating storyline through engaging interactions, ensuring an unforgettable and immersive experience.
- Dynamic Improv and Ad-Libbing: Showcase your talent for dynamic improv and ad-libbing to respond to the unpredictability of each customer group. Enhance the overall experience with quick thinking on the spot, creating memorable and personalized moments for every escape room team.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a manner that enhances their immersion, creating an atmosphere that feels like stepping into a Western tale. Ensure customers leave with stories to tell, having experienced the charm and wit of your character throughout their escape room adventure.
Qualifications:
- Versatile Acting Skills: Demonstrate a versatile acting range, particularly in bringing to life the nuances of a rough and sarcastic bartender in a Wild West setting. Ability to captivate and hold the attention of diverse audiences, adapting your performance to suit the unique dynamics of each customer group.
- Quick Memorization: Exhibit strong memorization skills to seamlessly deliver lines and maintain character consistency throughout the entire escape room experience. Adapt to unexpected scenarios, ensuring a fluid and authentic performance that adds an extra layer of excitement to the escape room narrative.
- Immersive Storytelling: Contribute to the creation of an immersive escape room narrative by infusing your character with depth, authenticity, and a touch of humour. Collaborate with the game development team to ensure a seamless integration of your character into the overall storyline.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Game Master: Train as a Game Master to guide and enhance the escape room experience for groups, adding an extra layer of excitement to their journey.
Contribute to the overall adventure by assisting teams in overcoming puzzles and celebrating their victories.
- Behind-the-Scenes Support: Learn the intricacies of escape room maintenance, contributing to the seamless operation of our immersive environments.
Take on the responsibility of ensuring each escape room is cleaned and reset to perfection, ready for the next group of adventurers.
- Customer Service: Assist in reception duties, including processing payments and offering hints to groups when needed.
Elevate the customer experience by seamlessly transitioning between your immersive character role and practical tasks that keep the escape room business running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Flexible Availabilities: Availability to work evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays to meet the dynamic demands of our business’ schedule. Be available for shifts during our store hours: Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Friday from 3:00 pm to 12:00 am, Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am, and holidays have extended hours.
- Enthusiastic Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, contributing your energy and enthusiasm to the overall success of the escape room adventures. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a cohesive and engaging experience for our customers.
- Passion for the Craft: Exhibit a genuine passion for immersive storytelling and live performance, with a commitment to continuously enhancing your skills in both acting and customer engagement.
- Prior experience in acting or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory – we value passion and dedication above all.
