Video Editor/Videographer – Part-Time / Contractor – Firearms Industry

AT3 Tactical is a growing Minnesota-based manufacturer and ecommerce retailer of firearms parts and accessories.

We’re seeking a Video Editor/Videographer to assist with completing video projects for our fast-growing, firearms-centric, YouTube channel.

This is a part-time / contractor, MN-based remote or onsite at our facility in St. Michael, MN.

There is a strong possibility that this position will grow into a full-time, salaried position with AT3 Tactical’s standard benefit package.

What We’re Looking For

• Creative and intuitive! You actively look for opportunities to make content more fun, engaging, and easier to understand.

You are able to see the big picture video concept; match & suggest improvements to video production “standards”… Basically, be able to provide a first draft that’s 90% or more ready for publishing which matches the existing video library’s style guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

• Receive and edit/Produce partial video projects end-to-end including; create supporting graphics, animations, 3D elements, or other video enhancements as needed.
• Intelligently/Intuitively utilize the AT3 Tactical cloud based media management repository for B-roll assets. (Submit requests for footage or schedule an on-site visit to film necessary footage. **Note, we have a full studio on-site in Saint Michael, MN.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro video editing software and Adobe Suite related products.

Filming/Videography

• Not required, but highly preferred, you’ll be located within a reasonable distance from AT3 in order to facilitate additional needs for filming by request.
• Set up lighting, video equipment, sound, and occasionally product displays prior to filming.
• Shoot all necessary A&B-roll in the studio or on-location with supplied camera and audio gear.

Required experience and skills we’re looking for:

• Comfortable working and handling firearms and firearms parts
• 3+ years of experience filming, editing, and producing video content
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro experience required)
• Demonstrated knowledge of supplied digital camera equipment, audio equipment, set and subject lighting, etc. (experience highly preferred)
• Organized, critical eye for detail, and able to concentrate on fine detail with periodic interruptions
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple video projects to meet required deadlines

Preferred experience and skills:

• Firearms industry knowledge is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of in-studio & outdoor audio, lighting, and filming requirements
