P osition Summary: B asin PBS (KPBT) is seeking an experienced V ideo Editor and Videographer.
T his position will primarily be focused on editing TV content produced by Basin PBS, other duties will b e assigned depending on production needs. This position will work closely with our production m anager, director, producers, and many others to advance our mission through our locally p roduced content. This position requires someone able to edit long-format media, keep tight d eadlines, and be a team player.
R esponsibilities:
● W ork closely with the production manager and producer in the post-production of content p roduced by Basin PBS.
● R esponsible for file management, ingestion, archival, and delivery.
● A ssist with on-location and in-studio filming.
● A ssist in the building of filming sets when needed.
● A ssist in the development of our camera operator team.
Q ualifications:
● M inimum of 3 years of experience in video editing using Adobe products.
● W orking knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Photoshop.
● H igh level of computer skills, with a deep understanding of file organization/management.
● P revious experience operating video cameras.
● C reative and collaborative mindset.
● D esire to grow and learn professionally.
● E xperience building animations in After Effects is a plus.

Pay: $3,000.00 – $3,500.00 per month
