REGULAR HOURS :

Part Time 20-29 hours. Monday-Friday with predetermined flexibility scheduled between the hours of 8am-8pm.

Primary duties include:

● Work as a team member of the WATC Production staff, flexing in positions such as: videography, technical directing, audio engineering and post-editing. This position is especially seeking applicants who are strong editors and have familiarity with audio engineering.

● Set up, light and record on-screen talent and b-roll.

● From a provided script rundown, you will work with production team and producers in capturing the appropriate footage

● Edit footage using Adobe Suite to create a clear and cohesive video that is engaging, informative and clear.

● Work on larger productions setting up lights (climb ladders up to 30ft and work above head), moving equipment and set pieces (carry up to 60lbs at least 25ft)

● Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

● 1-3 years of experience working in the field and in the studio with audio/video recordings

● Solid reel/portfolio* showcasing compelling production and post production abilities

● Strong knowledge of lighting set-ups

● Troubleshooting ability to resolve technical issues

● Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud

● Strong knowledge of computers and basic networking understanding

● Basic understanding of post production, motion graphics, color correction/balancing, etc…

● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

● Must exhibit flexibility under pressure and demonstrate ability to produce results

● Ability to be a self starter as well as a team member assisting on other projects.

● Ability to use video equipment (cameras, jib and steadicams, video switchers, routers, etc…).

● Ability to use sound recording equipment (audio mixers, shotgun mics, lavalier mics, etc…).

● Attention to detail is a must (check proper white balance, notice a smudge on the product being

filmed, notice unintended reflections, etc.)

● Ability to work standing and seated for extended periods of time

● Ability to look at a computer screen for an extended period of time

● Strong interpersonal skills and desire to be a collaborator in a creative team

● Go getter attitude and strong work ethic

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
