Film Production Hourly Paid Lecturer | London, ENG | Skills Hub

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Lecturer in Film and Post Production to join our team at Westminster Kingsway College. You will be responsible for teaching a range of film and post-production courses to students at levels 2-3.

You will have a strong understanding of film and post-production theory and practice, and be able to deliver engaging and informative lessons to students of all abilities. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering new courses, and for assessing student work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching on a range of film and post-production courses
• Develop and deliver new courses in film and post-production
• Assess student work and provide feedback
• Maintain and develop curriculum materials
• Liaise with other lecturers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the department
• Participate in departmental and college activities

Person Specification

• Essential Degree in film or a related subject

Experience of teaching film and post production
Strong understanding of film and post production theory and practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• DesirableMaster’s degree in film or a related subject

Experience of developing and delivering new courses
Experience of assessing student work
Experience of using a variety of teaching methods and technologies

Job Types: Temporary contract, Freelance, Temp to perm, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £26.37-£31.31 per hour
