Modern Day Brokerage is a fast-growing education & coaching company searching for driven go-getters who welcome the challenges of a growing business. We’re specifically looking for a videographer who will roll up their sleeves and create social media content that represents the vision of our brand. As a key member of the content team, the videographer will help create content, building strong brand recognition with our target audience and distribute to our social media platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about content creation and social media, share our story through video, and improve relationships with our audience. To succeed in this role, the candidate should have relevant videography experience, aware of social media trends, and a track record of building personal brands through social media.

*we have a team of editors so this will strictly be documenting content and creative

We are looking for a Camera Operator and Content Creator to join our team! You will be responsible for documenting and creating content as well as identify areas of improvement to increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Create high-quality video content that aligns with the brand’s goals and target audience. This may include promotional videos, tutorials, product demonstrations, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.
  • Storyboarding and Planning: Collaborate with content creators, marketers, and other team members to develop video concepts, scripts, and storyboards. Plan out shooting schedules and locations.
  • Camera Operation: Operate various video cameras and equipment, ensuring proper framing, composition, and focus. Use different camera angles and techniques to capture compelling shots.
  • Lighting and Audio: Set up and manage lighting equipment to achieve the desired look and mood. Capture clear and high-quality audio using microphones and other audio recording equipment.
  • Optimization: Format videos to be suitable for specific social media platforms, considering aspect ratios, video length, and file size. Optimize videos for mobile viewing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, social media managers, and marketing teams to ensure that the videos align with the overall content strategy and messaging.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with the latest trends in video production, social media platforms, and digital marketing to create content that resonates with the target audience.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear. Proficiency in video editing software is essential.
  • Creativity: A creative eye for capturing visually appealing and engaging shots. Ability to develop unique and attention-grabbing video concepts.
  • Storyboarding Skills: Capability to plan and create storyboards to guide the filming process and ensure the video’s message is effectively communicated.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients, understanding their vision and translating it into video content.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, including color correction, audio syncing, and precise editing to create polished final products.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, tight deadlines, and evolving social media trends.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work and demonstrating a range of video styles and techniques.
  • Understanding of Social Media: Knowledge of how different social media platforms work, including their video specifications and algorithms, to optimize content for maximum engagement.
  • Marketing Awareness: Understanding of marketing principles and the ability to align video content with marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple video projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and solve problems that may arise during filming or editing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
