Harrisburg Escape Rooms is seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, and quick-learning individuals for the Game Master position in the hottest entertainment trend in the country! Our Game Masters are responsible for engaging our guests, facilitating the live-action escape room experience, and creating an unforgettable adventure for every team. Ideal candidates are fun and reliable with stellar interpersonal skills.

Sample Job Duties:

• Captivate guests by providing an enthusiastic and detailed mission briefing.
• Actively focus on monitoring the guests and be prepared to assist them with clues when necessary.
• Quickly and accurately reset the room after each group’s 60 -minute escape (or attempted escape).
• Maintain communication with host, management, and guests to ensure that the reservations flow smoothly.
• Ensuring that guests understand what they’re supposed to be doing
• Explaining any rules
• Ensuring the safety of guests
• Providing a positive experience for guests. This might include being “in character” depending on your type of escape room. In any case, they need to be able to engage with and enthuse your customers.
• Resetting rooms in-between games.
• Administrative tasks such as taking payments.
• Helping with clues where this is permitted for guests. In some escape rooms, the Game Master remains in the room, whereas in others, they might be watching on-camera and contacted via tv.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
