Overview Responsible for the ideation, creation and delivery of a range of social-first video content across all of One Young World’s digital channels. Working with a global community of Ambassadors and VIP talent, you will help ensure One Young World is creating industry-leading and inclusive video. Editing pre-recorded content for our annual global Summits (live event and digital summit), occasionally filming in-person interviews. Delivering video projects as they arise in line with One Young World’s digital marketing and communications strategy, working with wider teams and external stakeholders. Key relationshipsVideo Content Manager, Digital Summit Lead, Communications Manager, Summit Content Manager, Director of Digital Communications, Managing Director Key responsibilities Editing inclusive social-first video videos with the Video Content Manager, Communications Manager and wider team. Editing a vast and diverse selection of pre-recorded content from our Ambassador community and VIP network, ensuring all content is of the highest quality. Helping manage video projects and relationships with freelancers and agencies, maintaining good relationships, giving feedback and ensuring deadlines are met. Planning and leading shoots along with the wider team as and when they are requested by other departments. Maintaining filming equipment, hard drives and online storage and filing content appropriately. Skills and abilities Experience editing video with Premiere Pro, creating assets in Adobe After Effects and graphics in Photoshop/ InDesign •Effective time management and flexible when it comes last minute requests and know when to delegate if needed. Good experience shooting video and recording audio and willingness to learn Confident and professional when working with VIP talent Experience working across different aspect ratios in the social space Confident pitching ideas, holding strong creative vision and feed into creative team discussions and planning Ability to work collaboratively, take on feedback and co-produce content Ability to communicate information at all levels Good project management and ability to keep projects on track Calm under pressure and comfortable with fast-paced and varied workloads, able to work on more than one project at a time Basic design skills (graphics, thumbnails in-line with our branding) Strong eye for what works and what doesn’t in video and up to date on social media and video trends across social media platforms, with the confidence to try new things and how to translate team ideas into effective video features. Essential details:Our standard working hours are 9am – 5.30pm.We operate a 4 day working week policy, which we call Flexible Fridays. We encourage you to be super efficient with your time Monday-Thursday, so you don’t need to work (unless something super urgent comes up) on a Friday. We operate this policy all year round, apart from in the three months leading up to the Summit.
