Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Video Editor (Chinese) to join our dynamic team. The Video Editor will play a crucial role in creating engaging and impactful content for our diverse audience. This role requires proficiency in both English and Chinese, as you’ll be responsible for editing video content in both languages. This will start as a part-time position, offering approximately 20-28 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate other commitments. Candidate will have an opportunity for Full-Time promotion if all performance requirements are met. Report: Senior Creative Manager Department: Marketing & Communications Responsibilities Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate graphics, quality audio, and visual coherence Utilize video editing & graphics software (Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects) to optimize video and audio quality Utilize vector graphics software (Adobe Illustrator) to create unique thumbnails from a template file Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and contribute ideas for new video projects & improving our workflow Meet deadlines and efficiently manage time to ensure timely delivery of projects Able to handle print design and web-based projects Requirements Prior experience as a video editor, ideally with a portfolio showcasing your work Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) and a strong understanding of video editing techniques Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated and independent Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic & remote work environment Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) Benefits (After Full-Time Promotion) Competitive Health Benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance) 401k retirement plan with a 6% corporate match Paid Time Of 13 Paid Holiday Salary Range $21-40/hr Recommended Skills Adobe After Effects Adobe Illustrator Adobe Premiere Pro Assembly And Installation Attention To Detail Communication
