POSITION SUMMARY: The Video Editor Advertising Technician works within the Menards Broadcast Marketing team to edit video and audio for Menards TV and radio commercials; along with other broadcast projects. This position is located in Eau Claire, WI. Primary Responsibilities: Pre and post production of all TV and radio commercials, and in house video/audio projects (editing, scripting, product research, coordination with videographers, vendors and buying staff) Non-linear video and audio editing Creation of motion graphics Product research, script writing, storyboarding Recording of voice-over audio in the studio Manage approval workflows and make necessary changes Export video and audio files for distribution Collaborate with videography team members, and other marketing and merchandising teams Skills & Requirements Skills/Requirements Associate or Bachelor Degree in Visual Communication, Advertising or Communications; an emphasis in Videography, Broadcast or Electronic Media or a related field. Minimum of 1 year professional video editing experience (preferably Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere, After Effects, and Audition) Digital audio editing professional experience Experience creating titles, motion graphics, and animations Strong knowledge of color correction and color grading techniques Chroma-key, masking, and rotoscoping experience Photo editing and retouching experience helpful Thorough understanding of video formats and codecs for broadcast TV and the Web Strong working knowledge of: Adobe Premiere, Audition, After Effects Microsoft Office Must be hardworking; a self-motivator Must be CREATIVE!
