AMP out of Pipestone, MN is HIRING a few actor/singers and musicians for the upcoming production of Scrooge the Musical. Performance dates are December 14-17. Parts and positions available are the following: Bob Cratchit-male, looks in 30s, tenor/baritone Ebenezer/Harry-male, looks 20s, tenor/baritone Isabelle/Helen-female, looks 20s, alto/soprano Mrs. Dilber-female, looks 30s or older, alto/soprano Carolers-teen or older, tenor, bass, soprano, alto; must be able to hold your own part, no beginner singers. Peter Cratchit-boy, looks 6-10 years old Martha Cratchit-girl, looks 6-10 years old Young Children-boy or girl, looks 7-11 years old Rehearsal Accompanist Contact Reggie Gorter with interest. 605-695-8626 Duties: – Perform as a singer and actor in the upcoming Production of Scrooge the musical .- Interpret and deliver songs with emotion and expression.- Collaborate with musicians, dancers, and other performers to create cohesive performances.- Rehearse regularly- Adhere to performance schedules and meet deadlines for rehearsals and shows. Experience: – Previous experience as a singer in live performances or theater productions.- Strong public speaking skills to interact with the audience during performances.- Ability to educate and communicate effectively through music.- Experience working with children in a performance or educational setting is a plus.- Familiarity with theater production processes and terminology.
