Job Description Position Title: Videographer and Editor Reports to: Director, Marketing Department: Marketing Location: 2929 N Central Ave, Suite 1400, Phoenix AZ 85012; in-office position Classification: Full-time, Exempt Summary / Job Objective: The Videographer is responsible for the planning, filming, and editing video content according to the needs of the Marketing Department, and other key clients and partners. Essential Job Functions: This position produces and provides promotional, educational and event-based videos to internal and external audiences and manages the process for quality and efficiency. This is an full-time, in-office position. Limited travel may be required. Primary Responsibilities: Produces creative and visually attractive videos Enhances video work with other production aspects, such as audio, visual effects and graphics Makes technical decisions regarding elements such as appropriate lighting, shooting angle and placement and type of microphone Edits and assembles final visual/audio program material; ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of end product Assists Marketing Department leadership regarding preconceived ideas and physical realities of production setting Tests all equipment to determine technical quality of recording, audio and lighting prior to operation Oversees the security, operation and maintenance of equipment utilized in shooting and editing Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Video, Fine Arts or related area is preferred and 2+ years of demonstrated experience in the areas of video production Thorough knowledge of audio, video and multimedia hardware and software Occasionally be available to work a non-standard schedule to fulfill assigned duties and responsibilities Core Competencies: Creative marketer Comfortable in a fast paced and demanding environment Results driven and proactive Positive attitude Team player Highly Organized and detail oriented Compensation & Benefits: Compensation (based On Experience) Base salary $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience) This is an Exempt position Annual performance bonus target: 5% Benefits: Employee benefits (health, 401k, life, etc.) On-site gym membership Paid Time Off Paid, covered parking Location: 2929 N Central Ave, Suite 1400, Phoenix AZ 85012; this role is an in-office position Company Description Headquartered in Summit, New Jersey, Simplicity Financial Marketing Group Holdings (“Simplicity Group”) is a financial holding company in the independent financial services sector that specializes in the distribution of retirement and financial planning products.
