You’ll get to film incredible stories, then whisk them back to our cozy SE Portland studio, or your comfy home setup, and weave your editing magic. What’s in your toolkit? A playground of technology—Red cameras, camera robots, a buffet of lighting, and more. Yet, beyond the gear, lies a realm of learning. Your filmmaker journey will have you traveling occasionally, exploring stories beyond the studio. A knack for camera operation and lighting is your ticket in, and though an intermediate understanding is cool, we’re here to arm you with any extra training needed. In the post-production arena, comfort with Adobe Premiere and Davinci Resolve is your sword and shield. Not a master yet? No worries, if you’re a quick learner, you’ll fit right in. The role would start as a contract role for 3-mo to ensure it’s a great long-term fit for everybody. From there, full-time salary with benefits. The weekly hours cn be adjusted based on where you’re at and what fits. We have lots to get done but its more about finding the right person over prescribing specific criteria about the role.
