Job Description:Job Description Lasmar Media is a small social media marketing agency based in Montreal that helps restaurants grow their online presence. We are currently looking for a videographer that will work on a per-contract basis to go to the restaurants and film content. Job description: The content will be used to create Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. We need about 100 short videos (5-10s each) that showcase the restaurants. Our editing team will then combine the videos to create content. An example of a video you would take would be a video that zooms on a piece of sushi for example. We are not asking for 100 Reels to be made! We just need different shots of the restaurant and its food so that we can then merge them together and create videos. So you could, for example, take a short video just showing the logo of the restaurant, then another of the facade of the restaurant, another of one of their meals placed on a table, a video of fries being dipped in one of their sauces, etc. You can be creative and do multiple videos from a single meal by filming different angles, different styles (zoom vs still), focusing on different parts of the food (burger, fries, sauce, etc). You will also be required sometimes to go to the kitchen and film the preparation process, by taking short 5-10 second clips of some parts of the preparation. The goal here is speed and volume, we need 100 different shots and you will only have a few meals (around 10) that are to your disposal. So obviously, there will be multiple videos about a same meal. You can also take videos of the interior decor of the restaurant! Here is a typical breakdown of what we would need:35 videos of the preparation process35 videos about meals that are ready20 videos about the interior decor10 videos about the restaurant’s exterior Let your creativity flow! Let’s say you are given some fries, you can: -take a still video of the fries -take a video zooming on the fries -take a video of dipping the fries in a sauce -take a video where we see a single fry getting taken close to the camera etc. As you can see, we already made 4 videos in only a few minutes with just some fries! At the restaurant, you will be given different meals and you will also have the decor and the preparation process to film videos from. So filming 100 videos should not be an issue! You will have 3 hours to do so, but might vary for each contract. We will also require you to take 30 pictures. These pictures can be about the food and the decor, so for example, you can film a video zooming on a particular part of the decor, and then take a picture of that same thing as well, they do not need to be different. At the moment, we are a small agency and so we do not have fixed/consistent work schedules. It will start with only a few 3 hour contracts every few weeks and will increase over time. This role is therefore perfect for someone looking for a part-time job! What we are looking for: We are looking for a videographer that has his own equipment (a camera that can record at least 1080p with 60fps). You need to be able to work in Montreal and also speak french and english fluently to talk with the restaurant owners. Experience with food videography/photography is an asset.
