We’re searching our next Videographer to support an office at the U.S. Department of Energy. As a videographer, you will produce high quality videos and photography to support visual storytelling, creativity, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with our creative staff – from copywriters to creative directors – to provide visual options that deliver a powerful message. Ensure all creative materials follow agency and office brand standards, including Section 508 compliance. Plan storyboards, shot lists, and shooting schedules to meet objectives. Edit video for case studies, promotional videos, training videos, social media campaigns, and other multimedia products. Develop high-quality products that meet client deadlines. Stay up to date with industry trends and tools to provide expertise to project managers and ensure projects are marketable and efficient. Qualifications: 7+ years of professional experience filming products for a variety of delivery platforms. Able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen (required by federal government for the position). Professional Skills: Experience with Canon cameras and CN-E Primes lenses, and camera support systems including sliders, gimbals, and jibs. Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud software packages including Premiere and After Effects Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with visual, communications, or design focus is preferred. Still photography experience for events and portraits is highly preferred. Experience supporting livestreams and using livestream software (both on-site and virtually). Strong communication skills to be the intermediary between creative staff and client, with the ability to command a crew. Detailed knowledge of Section 508 requirements as applied to video production. Nimble, innovative, and self-driven. Job Location(s): 100% Remote. However, the successful candidate will be available to work normal east coast business hours as the client is located in Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
