The Technical Illustrator/Videographer is responsible for authoring and revising NAVSEA Ship System Publications documents. This is a full-time, onsite position and is located at the Synectic Solutions Inc. Headquartered at Camarillo, CA facility.

Synectic Solutions Inc is looking for a Technical Illustrator/Videographer for our NAVSEA support team. The Videographer will work with the project managers to plan illustration and video tasking for multiple projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate should possess: Journeyman skills in the use and development of multimedia applications, and video editing; the ability to generate new and dynamic video productions supporting training manuals properly scoped to different audiences; analyze, and recommend solutions to programmatic problems and issues; track issues and problems through to resolution; and respond to related questions and correspondence.
• Produces stimulating training videos.
• Expert in Video productions and multimedia.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Illustration/Videography, Graphic Design, is preferred, but consideration will be giving to qualified candidates with an Associates degree in the above areas. Accredited technical degree in Video production is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in video editing.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Must have, or the ability to obtain, a secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple projects is required.

• Experience developing DoD technical documentation, including Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) in accordance with specifications such as S1000D, MIL-STD-3001 or other DoD specifications and standards preferred.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 USD $100,000 USD
