THE PICTURE COMPANY // BROADSIDE PRODUCTIONS, INC. is currently seeking a creative and talented writer to join our team for the feature film ‘A Complete Unknown’.

About the film:
‘A Complete Unknown’ follows the story of 19-year-old Bob Dylan, played by Timothée Chalamet, as he arrives in New York City in 1961 in search of his hero, Woody Guthrie. Embraced by the New York folk scene, Dylan finds success and becomes a sensation under contract at Columbia Records. The film explores his relationships within the folk music community and his eventual transition away from folk music, forming a band and leaving fans and the music community confused and disappointed.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the director and producers to develop the script
– Write engaging and compelling dialogue
– Conduct extensive research to ensure historical accuracy
– Participate in script meetings and revisions

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a screenwriter or writer in the film industry
– Strong storytelling skills and ability to create compelling characters
– In-depth knowledge of 1960s culture and the folk music scene
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changes in the script
