JOB TITLE: Video Producer (Live Events)
REPORTS TO: Director of Video Production, Visual Media
DEPARTMENT: Visual Media
STATUS: Regular, Full-Time – Hourly Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Petersburg, KY
Summary
Plan, staff and direct live event productions and events at both the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.
This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
- Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
- Oversee and promote the spiritual, personal, and professional development of all team members being led
- Work with Director of Video Production to plan, schedule and staff needed for live events
- Work with Post-Production Manager and AV Tech staff to prepare and test digital assets used in live events (LED wall graphics, static and animated lower thirds, etc.)
- Work with AV Installation team to troubleshoot complex video and audio systems
- Perform as director/technical director during live events
- Provide b-roll of special activities and events at attractions as necessary
- Deliver recorded assets to post-production team for editing as necessary
- Make recommendations for updates/upgrades to hardware/software in live event environments
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum 5 years in live event video production/live stream atmosphere
- Minimum 2 years as director/technical director for live events
- Experience using Ross Carbonite switchers and Ross Ultrix video routers a plus
- Experience using Yamaha CL1 mixers with Dante integration a plus
- Experience with ProPresenter a plus
- Knowledge of Barco E2 and Green Hippo Hippotizer a plus
- Knowledge of Canon C300 Cameras and Canon lenses a plus
