Exciting Opportunity for Hair and Makeup Artists in a Heartfelt Family Drama

FRUNCHROOM FILMS, LLC is currently seeking talented Hair and Makeup Artists for our upcoming feature film ‘GUYS NIGHT’. Set in 1985, this heartfelt family drama follows a father who, after finding himself divorced and raising three boys, creates a weekly movie night to keep his family stable. As a Hair and Makeup Artist, you’ll play a crucial role in recreating the 80s era and transforming the characters to authentically reflect the time period.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the Director, DP, and Costume Department to create the desired hair and makeup looks for the characters, ensuring they align with the story and time period.
– Stay up-to-date with current hair and makeup trends of the 80s era and research appropriate techniques and products.
– Apply makeup and style hair for actors, considering their character’s personality, age, and wardrobe.
– Assist with continuity by documenting and maintaining detailed records of hair and makeup looks for each scene.
– Collaborate with the rest of the hair and makeup team to ensure a consistent and cohesive look is achieved throughout the film.
– Work efficiently and professionally under time constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Hair and Makeup Artist, preferably in film or television production.
– Strong knowledge of 80s hair and makeup styles and techniques.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes on set.
– Attention to detail and ability to maintain continuity.
– Flexibility in terms of working hours, as production schedules may vary.
