Creative Writer

BY THE GRAPE OF GOD MOVIE LLC, a production company based in Napa Valley, is seeking a talented and creative Writer to join our team for the feature film ‘BY THE GRAPE OF GOD.’ This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a unique and captivating story.

As the Creative Writer, you will work closely with the Writer/Producer, Kevin Hickey, and the Director, Colmcille Donston, to bring the script to life. Your main responsibility will be to craft engaging dialogue and compelling narrative arcs that showcase the inner conflicts of the characters and drive the story forward.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the Writer/Producer and Director to develop the script, ensuring it aligns with the vision of the film
– Write and revise dialogue that reflects the personalities and motivations of the characters
– Create captivating narrative arcs that keep the audience engaged throughout the film
– Adapt and modify the script based on feedback and creative direction
– Collaborate with the production team to ensure the script’s feasibility and practicality within the production budget and timeline

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Writer in the film industry, with a portfolio of original scripts or produced work
– Strong storytelling skills and the ability to create compelling characters
– Excellent command of the English language, with a knack for writing engaging dialogue
– Understanding of screenplay structure and formatting
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Familiarity with the production process and film industry standards
