We are looking for competent Camera Operators to capture multiple sporting events throughout the course of the year. We want you to be comfortable around expensive and delicate equipment as well as able to concentrate and attend to detail. You will be added to our pool of camera operators and also have opportunities to film in the future. Responsibilities Select, assemble and position equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.) Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements Sit or stand for extended periods of time Resolve technical or practical issues Skills Proven experience as camera operator Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, cranes etc.) Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage Ability to think and act quickly A team player Attention to detail Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina High school diploma; degree in film, media or relevant field is a plus Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Evening shift Weekends as needed Experience: Filming: 1 year (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
