Description Robert Half is seeking a social media video content creator for a part time, contract opportunity. This role will be fully remote and run at least until the end of 2023 with the possibility of extending. This Video Editor role could also grow in hours and become a full-time role, but that is unknown at this time. Right now, this role is on average 15-20 hours per week to create short format social videos for their news site client. Assets will be provided to create the content, so the main duty is assembling and editing the content. Must be proficient in video editing, social media, YouTube and Tik Tok. Daily Responsibilities Of The Video Editor/Social Content Creator The Video Editor will create 2-3 videos per day/10-15 videos per week. The Video Editor will have an understanding and ability to speak and report on TikTok/YouTube/Instagram/etc. KPIs and metrics The Video Editor will be proficient shooting video and editing video in both professional editing software and on multiple mobile apps. The Video Editor will brainstorm, plan, and create video projects with news reporters. The Video Editor will collaborate with different departments on video ideas and productions. The Video Editor will work with reporters to properly translate written stories to video format. The Video Editor will help with social media strategies and content creation discussions. The Video Editor will research different trends in news media and social media that could help further develop our online presence and voice. The Video Editor will bring a level of creativity and innovation to video efforts/production that help further our goals as a company. The Video Editor will demonstrate an already established knowledge of making videos in different formats (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) The Video Editor will have experience with working in a quick-paced environment (create content, send to editor, work with critique, etc.) The Video Editor will bring a passion for video production and/or content creation. The Video Editor will develop new and highly engaging content to grow our audiences on social media.
