Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities We are seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Freelance Videographer to join our team and assist in filming content for our YouTube series. As a videographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing compelling footage that engages and captivates our audience. We are specifically looking for someone who is willing to handle controversial conversations, explore new ideas, and has a passion for telling stories that matter. Responsibilities: Collaborate with our creative team to develop a visual concept for each episode or video segment Operate video cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices to capture high-quality footage Set up and adjust camera equipment, including tripods, microphones, and lighting, to ensure optimal recording conditions Film interviews, conversations, events, and other relevant content in accordance with the creative vision and guidelines provided Capture B-roll footage and additional shots to enhance the overall visual storytelling Ensure all audio and visual elements are properly recorded and synchronized Collaborate closely with the editing team to provide them with the necessary footage and ensure the creative vision is maintained throughout the post-production process Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in videography to continually enhance the quality of our content Requirements: Proven experience as a videographer, preferably with experience in documentary-style or interview-based content Proficiency in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices Solid understanding of composition, framing, lighting, and sound design principles Ability to work independently and take creative initiative while adhering to project guidelines Strong storytelling skills with the ability to capture and convey emotions, ideas, and controversial topics effectively through visuals Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a creative team Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating previous work is highly desired This is a part-time freelance position with a pay rate of $20 per hour. The number of hours per week will vary depending on the project requirements and availability. As a freelance videographer, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and manage your own schedule while ensuring timely delivery of the assigned tasks.
