Company: Method Studios Position: VFX Producer, Sr Location: Santa Monica, CA (On-Site) Salary Range: $129,600.00 – $180,960.00 Annually ($2,492.30 – $3,480.00 Weekly) POSITION SUMMARY: Method Studios currently has freelance openings for a VFX Producer to work on projects within our VFX department. This position will be located in Santa Monica, CA. The VFX Producer will be the point of contact for clients and will work closely with Company 3 / Method Inc department heads to ensure that each production runs smoothly. The candidate will focus on building solid relationships by managing client expectations and meeting our creative/technical standards. MAIN DUTIES: The VFX Producer will produce projects within an approved budget and deadline while handling client-facing correspondence. This position will work closely with CG Supervisors and VFX Supervisors to accurately assess project changes in direction, budget, and scheduling. The VFX Producer will motivate, navigate, and lead their team through each stage of a project while accurately resolving problems and maintaining a positive customer relationship. Other main duties in this role include: Meet with client contacts to cover progress on projects, due dates, changes to projects, etc. Produce projects within approved budget and deadlines. Maintain and update schedule with information garnered from client communication. Communicate changes in projects to department leads and management. Maintain a positive customer relationship through both written and verbal communication as well as high levels of customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling customer orders and resolving customer problems accurately, on time, and with high quality. Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns. Continually develop relationships with clients. Complete additional duties as required. WHAT YOU BRING: A background in television feature, or commercial visual effects. Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are needed. Proven planning and problem-solving abilities are required. Strong computer skills, including experience using MS Office and other production-related software. The ability to effectively handle multiple projects and responsibilities under pressure with minimal supervision is essential. Strong ability to identify clear priorities and meeting department goals. The ability to work flexible hours is necessary.
