Buffalo Groupe is a collection of agencies, events and media properties dedicated to “escape marketing” in the realms of active sport, outdoor recreation, wellness, travel and tourism and real estate. Buffalo Groupe is looking for a video specialist to join the creative team and work on a wide range of clients across our three marketing agencies: BGRM, Buffalo Agency, and 54 Brands. This position is available in-office (Charleston, SC), hybrid or fully remotely. Please provide a link to a portfolio or reel that demonstrates a variety of video work relevant to the job scope below; this can be made up of samples from professional or personal projects. We will not be able to consider candidates who do not provide samples of relevant work. Key Functions: Working with creative team members (including designers, writers, and animators) to execute video projects from start to finish, on time and on budget Capturing video during video shoots and live events in various locations across the country (and potentially even outside of the country) as needed (estimated 1-2 times per month) Pre-production planning, including concepting, storyboarding, talent selection, building out shot lists and schedules, wardrobe recommendations, props coordination, etc. Post-production video editing, including coordinating voice talent, music selection, designing and incorporating on-screen graphics Setting up and running lighting, teleprompter, and audio equipment Ongoing short-form video creation and ideation for use on social media across a variety of clients Desired Skills & Experience: Experience shooting video in studio and field productions Experience working independently and with a team on video productions Proficiency in non-linear editing, including Premiere Pro Experience creating motion GFX in Premiere Pro or After Effects Knowledge of sound FX and music applicable to video elements Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and make the most of available time Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight schedules Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, etc.) Highly creative, out-of-the-box, strategic thinker Professional attitude and demeanor that follows our company values of Kindness, Courage, and Clarity Adaptable/flexible approach with a can-do attitude; no job is too big or small 2-5 years of professional experience, bachelor’s degree a plus Bonus Skills/Experience Photography Experience with Sony Cinema Cameras FAA Part 107 UAV License 3D animation or modeling (Blender, Cinema 4D) Social media app experience (TikTok, IG Reels, CapCut editing, etc.) Recommended Skills Adobe After Effects Attention To Detail Blender Cinema 4 D Coordinating Creativity
