Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled motion graphics artist whose expertise can instantly and visibly enhance LNN video quality. As a VFX Editor, you will play a crucial role in the post-production process by collaborating with the production team. You will be responsible for assembling and integrating visual effects elements into the final edited footage, ensuring seamless integration and enhancing the overall visual storytelling. Responsibilities: Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Provides visual effects for LNN episodes, external marketing videos and social media posts Editor of all kinds of video productions, whether with or without VFX needs Specializes in video motion graphics, animation and other special effects Ability to design and animate original logos Ability to design graphics for promotional/educational emails, presentations, social posts and other non-video needs Potential VR design capabilities or willingness to learn Ensures that all episodes/videos are edited to the most effective lengths of time Ensures that the Lennar brand and culture are always displayed and communicated properly Conceptualizes new ideas for LNN episode & external video content Ability to react quickly to new ideas, suggestions & news stories to be covered Ability to edit to music with proper timing and rhythm Oversees review/feedback loop and revisions plus distribution of completed videos to various channels Possesses strong attention to detail, ensuring that all names and titles that appear on screen are always correct Provides color correction for all video content Provides basic audio mixing, music mixing and sound effects Executes compression and encoding of video content for online use Monitors LNN episode views and external video views, with ability to adapt accordingly to maximize viewership Qualifications: Education and Experience Requirements: Proven experience as a VFX Editor or similar role in the film, television, or animation industry. Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, or comparable tools. Strong understanding of visual effects principles, techniques, and workflows. Excellent knowledge of editing and compositing techniques, including green screen keying, tracking, and motion graphics integration. Familiarity with color grading and color correction processes. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines and evolving project requirements. A keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and visual storytelling. Physical Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
