PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION THOROUGHLY BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS JOB POSTING. We are looking for a video editor to create a short trailer for a romantic comedy film. The film was shot in BMPCC RAW and the files are extremely large. We don’t need any crazy special effects, as it’s a romantic comedy, however, it does need to look extremely cinematic and tell a compelling story that represents the film accurately. The film is NOT cut into a rough draft yet. We ONLY have the clips from the RAW images. The ideal candidate will be able to put together a creative 2 minute trailer within 7 days. Must be equipped to handle 1TB of footage to cut in post production. Must be able to include sound design, color grading, subtitles and a thumbnail. We will provide music to be added to trailer. Must be available for a zoom call this week between 6:30am-7am EST to discuss the details of this project and the expectations. Must have a Dropbox account suitable for downloading large files in a timely manner. Must have a highly equipped editing system to handle large BRAW files.
