Senior Video Editor The Senior Video Editor is a digital artist that creates stunning, impactful moving elements of digital storytelling. The canvas is the computer screen and will work on various digital platforms from handheld electronic devices, to smartphones, television, movies, and the web. This talented editor will also create motion graphics used in multimedia campaigns, eLearning platforms, promotional products, computer graphics, and technical illustrations. This role will work within The Brand Studio to craft solid storytelling through their editing skills and develop visually stunning motion designs. This role will work with the video leader, creative director and other Studio team members to concept, design, edit and develop motion graphics for use in a variety of mediums and platforms. You will be a creative, conceptual, and innovative individual with a versatile, collaborative approach to the creative process. Among assignments there will be a focus on creating Cox Mobile retail promotional spots. What You’ll Do Edit and animate videos from start to finish Provide motion design work to be included in videos Create visual approaches for videos and other motion mediums Design and animate charts and maps Conduct visual research Create social media assets for work across platforms including thumbnail images and original artwork Support art directors and graphic designers in team projects at The Brand Studio Manage multiple projects concurrently Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Understand video workflow and production specifications What’s In It For You At Cox, we reward your hard work with meaningful benefits. Who You Are Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field Relevant motion graphic design, editor and motion designer experience Proven work experience and recognition as an Account Lead or similar role Experience in 2D and 3D motion, animation, ideation, storyboarding, shooting, and posting all related production workflows, including 2D graphic design and 3D modeling Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to multitask with a keen eye for detail High level experience with global brands in brand identity and voice Solid presentation and people skills Excellent time management skills while being comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities Skilled in Workfront, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Well-versed in searching soundtracks and editing audio Must be self-motivated with a positive and collaborative attitude Motivated by new ways of working that lead the industry forward Preferred Degree in related discipline strongly desired Experience in an accredited advertising agency, in-house agency, consultancy, development studio or comparable company Proficient in Cinema 4D with Octane Render, modeling programs to render Cox devices and other objects within a 3D space Experience as camera operator and photographer Written and spoken bilingual skills in English & Spanish About Cox Communications Cox Communications is the largest private telecom company in America, serving six million homes and businesses.
